Look Around at the Animals, Big and Small

Have you looked out your window, or gone for a walk, either in your neighborhood or in a park or woodland area.? Everywhere you turn, you can certainly look around at the animals, big and small.

Perhaps you have a pet: a cat, dog, bird, or other amazing animal. They can be such comfort.

But, then, being outside, you find, in addition to other peoples’ animal friends, wild creatures that invade every city or township. Birds of all kinds, from the smallest hummingbird to the much larger pigeon, fly around you. And, squirrels seem to be everywhere, finding food and digging a hole for it, in hopes of locating it in the future. Skunks – well, we’ll leave those alone. Enjoy all you see, and continue to look around at the animals, big and small.

What’s that noise in your yard? It seems a raccoon found its way into your trash bin. Scat!

Perhaps you live near a region where animals might be larger: deer, or foxes, or possibly even a bear? Enjoy watching, but don’t try to touch!

Watching – and interacting with some – animals can always be peaceful experiences. Later in the day, why not curl up with a nice meal and a fine glass of delicious wine. It’s a perfect end to a beautiful day.
