all things our natural world

And look up at the sky Enjoy the beauty of the stars.

Can you connect the stars to make pictures? They are called constellation. And, these have come down through the ages. What can you make in the sky?

And, are you ready for the upcoming solar eclipses?

Although solar eclipses happen at least once a year, it’s not often the United States has two within a year. And, if you miss these, you have twenty years before another one comes to our country.

Or look up at the clouds in our natural world What shapes do you see in them?

When many of us were kids, our family would look up at the clouds, and ask what we saw: a plane, dinosaur, even a UFO? Take time outside, and see what your eyes imagine.

Possibly look around at the plants and trees They always are a beautiful sight.

Do you take time to be outside and marvel at the incredible array of plants and trees that are around you? Even in a city, there are sidewalk tree plantings; perhaps your neighbors have a small flower garden, or a flowerbox in their window. If you can, get close enough to possibly smell the delicious aroma of what you observe.

And look around at the animals, big and small. Do you have one of your own? Or, do you watch the ones in your neighborhood?

Animals are all around us. whether those we share our homes with, or others that run through the neighborhood. Have you seen squirrels today, or a turtle on a branch in a pond? And, deer? Have any scampered through your yard? Take a moment, and relish in the joy of the animals all around you.

Take a walk, alone, with friends, or with your furry friend. The fresh air, especially in the mornings, is a great way to begin a day.

Whether it’s early in the morning, or just a quick trek through your neighborhood, doesn’t a nice walk make you feel good, perhaps refreshed? You can be alone, with friends, or just your favorite canine buddy, a nice walk is the best way quick pick-me-up you can do for yourself.

Or, possibly, grow a garden. Whether you’re a new gardener, or an old pro, the miracle of growth is always wonderful.

Nothing is better than getting your hands dirty, planting seeds or picking up the results of your labors. If you’re picking up beautiful flowers, or gathering up fruits and vegetables, you will be glad you did.
